Produtos acabados de Maio / May Empties

Aqui segue a lista dos produtos acabados / My empties list is:

This shampoo purifies the scalp and reduces sebum production, so that the hair will remain cleaner for longer. Prevents that hair get oily quickly. Parabens free. Silicone free. Dyes free. I use this shampoo alternating with others for seborrhea dermatitis and I love it. Even using from time to time other, always I come back to this, because it is not abrasive to the hair and eliminates well oiliness and is gentle enough to use every day. I tend to dilute the shampoo before using it, as I do to all of them, I notice that it washes better and I use less shampoo.

I feel that soothes my seborrhea dermatitis scalp, it is a good shampoo to switch with the Bioderma Node DS, which in maintenance times only use once a week. I tend to dilute the shampoo before using it, as I do to all of them, I notice that it washes better and I use less shampoo.

This shower gel with a fresh texture transforms into a light foam and wrap you in aromatic notes of lavender of Provence. The cleansing base of plant washes gently your skin and leaves it subtly scented. The most current version of this gel no longer has parabens, which is a great news because I love this scent. This gel has lots relaxing properties, to relief from stress.

Gel Duche Bio

This shower gel has a very nourishing texture paraben free, dyes free.  Unfortunately this line was discontinued by Yves Rocher, which left me very disappointed, because it was low in chemicals and left the skin very soft.

 BY ALEXANDRA

Adicionalmente, promove a circulação sanguínea e mata as bactérias, fungos e vírus.

7.            Mel

Mata bactérias enquanto suaviza e hidrata a pele.

DIY Honey Face Mask! ♥ (Perfect for Sensitive Acne-Prone Skin)

DIY Honey Face Mask! ( Mascara de Mel cru orgânico)

Hi everyone! Hope you all had a great weekend :) Just uploaded a new video talking to you about my favorite natural face mask using raw honey! Honey is very powerful as it contains lots of great enzymes, vitamins and anti septic properties that are great for the skin. It's also amazing to, of course, eat honey as well, but I unfortunately still haven't found a love for the taste! Maybe one day :) But for now, I apply it directly to my face and it does wonders!

This jar of honey I use is called "Really Raw Honey" and it's about $10 for 1lb! It lasts me a good six months, so it's really inexpensive and works just as good as the high-end face masks (possibly even better) and you don't have to worry about harsh chemicals, fragrances and irritants.

It's important to use raw honey in particular because that means it hasn't been heated or processed, so it still contains all its essential nutrients and enzymes (which are usually destroyed otherwise when heated and processed).

Summary of a few of the benefits of raw honey for the skin:
- It has antimicrobial and antiseptic properties (great for healing cuts and burns and killing bacteria)
- It's packed with nutrients and minerlas such as vitamin B, iron, calcium...
- It contains gluconic acid, a mild alpha hydroxy acid which brightens the complexion

- It has a pH level of 4.5 so it falls within the skin's natural healthy range
- When mixed with water, it releases peroxide properties which helps heal acne and prevent bacterial growth
- It acts as a humectant, drawing moisture into the skin

Raw honey can also be used as a face cleanser for those of you looking for a natural alternative. (Just apply a teaspoon of honey to your finger tips and use as a regular cleanser onto damp skin.)

The best thing is that it's both exfoliating and moisturizing!

DIY Detoxifying Face Mask! ♥ (For Acne, Skin Discoloration, Scars)

DIY Detoxifying Face Mask ( Mascara de Rosto detox)

Hi beautiful! I have a new video up for you on this DIY detoxifying face mask which is great for helping to eliminate acne blemishes, skin discolorations and scarring. This has rapidly become one of my favorite face masks because of the super powerful ingredients. I have a summary of the benefits of each ingredient below. They are packed with goodness for your skin! I like to do this face mask / scrub twice a week (usually before hopping in the shower), and I love the way it makes my skin feel. I recently broke out pretty bad (due to the stress of moving etc), and these ingredients have helped speed up the process of my skin's recovery.

I hope you enjoy the video and find it informative & helpful ♥

As mentioned, I've started using Apple Cider Vinegar (diluted in water) as a face toner and as a hair conditioner / hair rinse and I LOVE it
♥ So happy I discovered this! I will make a video on it soon :) I've also been adding Himalayan Crystal Salt to my water, and it's very energizing and detoxifying (many people use this as a coffee replacement!).

Himalayan Crystal Salt
Pure "raw" unrefined hand-mined salt found naturally deep within the Himalayan Mountains

BENEFITS:
- It contains the full spectrum of 84 minerals & trace elements
- Works by drawing out toxins

- Acts as a natural exfoliant
- Naturally antiseptic and antimicrobial

Some of the minerals found in the Himalayan salt that promote skin health are:

Chromium
 - Fights acne and reduces skin infections.

Zinc
 - aids in healing of the tissues and helps prevent scarring. It helps prevent acne by regulating the activity of oil glands. Zinc also promotes a healthy immune system and the healing of wounds.

Iodine
 - helps in healing skin infections by increasing oxygen consumption and the metabolic rate of the skin.

Sulfur
 - keeps skin clear and smooth. Dry scalps, rashes, eczema and acne are often due to deficiencies of this mineral.

Raw Organic Honey
Try to find an unpasturized & organic form as this ensures all the healthy enzymes haven't been filtered out

BENEFITS:
- High in antioxidants
- Anti-bacterial & anti-inflammatory (great for acne)
- Naturally moisturizing & soothing
- Contains mild form AHA which is beneficial for exfoliation / eliminating scars

I sometimes simply apply honey on it's own to my entire face - usually before getting in the shower, and it's a quick pick-me-up for your skin!

Apple Cider Vinegar
With "The Mother" = cloudy appearance which contains enzymes, nutrients & healthy bacteria

BENEFITS:
- Anti-septic cleanser
- Regulates skin's natural pH level
- Tones the skin
- Contains mild form AHA which is beneficial for exfoliation / eliminating scars

Can also be diluted with water, and used as a face toner & hair conditioner / rinse
Add to baths to combat body acne
Also beneficial to drink for detox and weight management

3 Toxic Cosmetics You Should Replace Now

xoxo Liliana

I always say that it is all about the ingredients, and I recommend using products without harmful ingredients in order to reduce your daily, weekly, yearly, and lifetime body burden of chemicals with known and suspected disease implications. Since up to 60 percent of what you put on your skin reaches your bloodstream (this increases to almost 100 percent with scalp, underarm, and groin exposure), it makes sense to use cosmetics that DO NOT add to your body burden of toxic chemicals.
Over time, you should replace all harmful personal care products, but here are three cosmetics we recommend tackling first:
1. Foundation. Foundation is a good place to start, as many women cover their whole face and neck with it daily. Liquid foundations contain many harmful chemicals, including the following, found in a major drugstore brand: propylene glycol, methylparaben, and propylparaben, all of which are considered endocrine disruptors. These are important to avoid because the endocrine system regulates ALL biological processes in the body, including development of the brain and nervous system, growth and function of the reproductive system, and metabolism and blood sugar regulation, as well as the functions of the ovaries, testes, pituitary, thyroid, and adrenal glands. The World Health Organization (WHO) and the UN recently released a report calling endocrine disruptors a "global threat" to fertility and the environment. In 2011, another shocking study showed that methylparaben along with an endocrine disruptor widely found in food, BPA, turned healthy cells into cancer cells and rendered the breast cancer drug tamoxafin ineffective.
The same brand also contains ingredients that have the potential to be contaminated with cancer causers: PEG/PPG 10 dimethicone, PEG/PPG 18, retinyl acetate, tocopheryl acetate, laureth 7, and PEG/PPG 20 dimethicone.
Loose powders and brush-on foundations, which are applied topically, not only have the endocrine disruptors methylparaben, propylparaben, but have other ingredients of concern, too. One best seller (and many similar products) contains retinyl acetate, alumina (suspected of being neurotoxic), and other hazardous ingredients that can be inhaled.
Look for products without these ingredients. Our AvaFACE foundation, formulated with French clay, silk, and organic arrowroot powder is one such product.
2. Lipstick. According to a recent piece by The New York Times, "Millions of women and girls apply lipstick every day. And not just once: some style-conscious users touch up their color more than 20 times a day." A recent study also found that "a wide range of brands contain as many as eight other metals, from cadmium to aluminum." Those will never appear on a label because they are contaminants of other ingredients. Besides endocrine disruptors like propylparaben, other harmful substances in typical department store and drugstore lipsticks are as tocopheryl acetate and retinyl acetate, as well as titanium dioxide, which usually exists in nanoparticle form. Nanoparticles have been shown to cross the cell barrier and drive into organs, including the brain in humans, where they can cause long-term oxidative damage. There is no way of knowing what size particles are in your product unless the manufacturer tells you.
So, what's the solution? Organic lipstick with as few harmful chemicals as possible.
3. Mascara. With toxic ingredients like these from a best-selling major brand of mascara, you can see why it is important to find an organic alternative that still delivers results: triethanolamine (which reacts with other ingredients in products to become carcinogenic nitrosodiethanolamine), propylene glycol, methylparaben, butylparaben, quaternium 15 and quaternium 22 (both of which release cancerous formaldehyde as they break down), and synthetic colorants that have been linked to organ-system toxicity.
I hope you will replace your conventional products, starting with these three, and opt for safer choices. If you combine the ingredients lists above, you can see how just a few products can contribute to your daily chemical body burden. There are seven parabens in just one single daily application of lipstick, foundation, and mascara and we ladies know we apply these more than once every day.
